I am working with PowerBI and have been facing an issue with the refresh. I am not using the licensed version and have made a Dashboard in the desktop version. The dashboard is connected to sharepoint files that get stored and updated on a daily basis. The data refresh works in the desktop version , but when I go to Publish and then "My Workspace", I try to refresh the dashboard . It does not reflect the updated data. How do I refresh the data there?

In Power BI the report which we create on desktop version is called a report other than dashboard as it creates a confusion in the community, just wanted to let you know on that 😀 . 

Coming back to the topic 🤔, your report is not getting refreshed on the power bi service the best possible reason could be the credentials issue, you can click on the dataset and might update it, if that is not working can you please share the screenshot of the error message while you are refreshing it.

Also this issue is faced by many people and already raised to the microsoft team which are working on it.

My advise would be to be calm and patient as this issue will be fixed soon!

Have you refreshed it from the Dataset from the workspace list?
