I created my first PowerBI report and I'm having issues with scheduled refresh (or any refresh) after publishing it on PowerBI Service. I updated the app as well and I have the necessary user rights to publish.
The reports works perfectly on desktop and refreshing works there. I uploaded to a company Sharepoint folder and from there published to Service. IT set up the gateways and the credentials were entered. There are two on-premise gateways and one cloud connection, though one appears in red, we have other reports with the same setup that work correctly. Scheduled refresh was set up as well with no errors.
Nonetheless, after refreshing the semantic model on Service, the report goes blank and instead of data, it shows "--" as shown on the picture, and there is no error notification. No one in my organization has discovered the issue.
Any hint as to what might be the issue would be greatly appreciated as I look forward to completing my first report and bringing needed visibility within the organization.

The problem was the date filters.
They worked well on Desktop but once on Service, they would make the report go blank.
I removed data with blank dates and now changed the data types using locale. Now it works and refreshes.

Regarding the issue you raised, my solution is as follows:
1.You can check if the sensitivity label of your PBIX file is hidden from the data.

2.Secondly, whether RLS is set for PBIX.

It is important to note that it will take some time for the above settings to take effect for the entire organization after they are modified.

Thank you for your response and proposed solution.
As the report has no Sensitivity labels (Sensitivity is greyed out) and the RSL is set to none as your screenshot shows, the issue remains unfortunately.
I get the feeling a setting must be enabled or disabled as the report behaves perfectly on desktop version, even when refreshed and same after being published on Service (until the semantic model is refreshed there).

Regarding the issue you raised, my solution is as follows:
1.First, have you tried enabling only the cloud gateway or on-premises gateway to see if it's an on-premises gateway connection or a refresh blank caused by the on-premises gateway connection?
2.Second, if your refresh settings OneDrive refresh are on, check that the current switch is turned on in the semantic model settings:
3.Contact your administrator to check if it is enabled in the admin portal:

4.Finally try updating the on-premises gateway and republishing from SharePoint.
