I have a report that I am trying to export to Powerpoint and/or excel. I get the confirmation message that it is ready for download, but when I go to the downloads folder, there is nothing there :(. I have confirmed my browser download location.
I wonder why the dialog just does not give me an option to open after export? Very confusing UX for the average users.
For my issue, I was doing the same thing yesterday and it worked, but today, no.

Turns out this was an intermittent issue. Rebooted my machine and all worked.

Hi @jofoster ,
What is the browser you are using? I just tried it using Google's untracked window and when I exported successfully, the exported file is displayed at the bottom left and you can click on it by right clicking on the file name.
Wish it is helpful for you!
Best Regards
Lucien
Hi @jofoster ,
This might be a setting in your browser. In Edge after it downloads it gives you a "open file" option. Perhaps check in your browser for the history of files that you have downloaded and see if there is a location and/or ability to click it in there. Also, try with another browser and see if that resolves it. Also, this article has a list of limitations to downloading, do any of these apply to you?
