I have about 5 datasets in my POWERBI online service.
All the datasets are stored on OneDrive and after enabling 2FA for my account the refresh of this dataset stopped working. I am getting the following error: Your file cannot be kept up to date because the credentials are incorrect and if I try to do SIGN IN again then The OAuth authentication method isn't supported for this data source. Contact your admin.
This happens just to some of the datasets, not to all of them!
Some of them are working fine, even though they are all stored on the same OneDrive. How to make it work once the 2FA is enabled? This used to work fine before enabling the 2FA.
Hi, @whocares61 ;
Hi. There is trick when using MFA against apps. You have to create an "App Password". It is a password generated for the account that can be used to login in Microsoft Apps. I think that will solve this issue. You can use that password for the same account when trying to login in apps like Gateway. Check this doc out to understand how to create it

I think this might be an Office 365 scenario.
I hope that helps,

No, that's not the reason.
One of the datasets works as it is and if I add the same one's again yet will work fine without an app password..
I have tested that if I try to reattach the same dataset, it will ask for a 2Fa and will work and refresh, but then I have to recreate all the reports. So that's not a good solution for me.
But the point is that by reconnecting it works, so I need to somehow update my credentials on these datasets..
