I use Power BI Desktop to produce my data model, visuals and reports and then publish changes to PowerBI.com. I use Personal Gateway as my connector.
I then have scheduled refresh configured for normal updating for data. If I make changes to the reports or model I will republish from Power BI Desktop.
This was all working fine the last week, but today something has gone wrong.
Originally I had not created a Content Pack from my data model, but today I created a Content Pack from my dataset which I then shared with Groups that I had configured. Since doing this I can no longer update my data either via 'Refresh Now' or 'Scheduled Refresh'.
To confirm: it recognises my Personal Gateway and says it is online.
The error I am getting is as follows and occurs when I try and expand the 'Data Source Credentials' option.:
"Failed to load data sources. Please try again later. "
EDIT: Also, when I click the warning error on the menu on the left I get :
"An Unknown error has occured. Please try again."
Can anyone help me here? I imagine if I deleted my dataset and re-uploaded it this would work (as I have done previously), but as you can imagine this is a huge frustration.
Before this error I was having a different error stating that the credentials were incorrect (despite not having changed since creating the content pack). I have double checked all credentials but with no success.
Any help much appreciated.

A little late updating, but for anyone that has the issue again I ended up looking at the 'Data Source Settings' in my .PBI file and turned out that there were duplicates of some of my data sources. Also some of the data sources has switched to Windows credentials rather than the database credentials they should have been. Not sure how that happened.
Hi Team,
I even have the same problem when trying to refresh the Dataset. Please find below for the error.
Any quick help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

I had a similar issue last week. I found out that dropping one tabel and reinstalling it and recreating the model, the problem went away. But it was really trial and error to solve this. No way the messages will help you to a solution.
