PowerBI Service Sync failed using connection type=file via Gateway to an .accdb

I'm trying to schedule a refresh a Semantic Model using connection via Gateway (cluster), using a windows account enabled to write, read, execute actions, to an .accdb file containing tables+forms; privacy level isn't public but 'organizational'; connection type=file;auth metod=windows.

I want to sync data contained into the tables of my Semantic Model.

-PowerBI Desktop: Using 'refresh' button the semantic model refresh is working fine; I can refresh and publish (manyally)
-PowerBI Service: I get DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError

What do you suggest to solve the problem?

Hi @ez__

Have you checked and ruled out the following issues?

Hi Jayleny thanks for the interesting troubleshooting link. My issue isn't about the initial import data phase from Access DB: the import is successful, I can refresh the data and publish the Semantic Model. The issue is about the onDemand refresh and the sheduling, using PowerBIService.

"Power BI can connect to data by using existing connectors and generic data sources, like ODBC, OData, OLE DB, Web, CSV, XML, and JSON. Developers can also enable new data sources with custom data extensions called custom connectors. Microsoft certifies and distributes some custom connectors as certified connectors."

have you tried some custom connector to Access .accdb file ?

Hi thanks but is a business requirement....

I would suggest moving away from Access as the data source. Do you have the option to use a real database like SQL Server?
