PowerBI Service - Git integration - no organisation found
- 3 years ago
Hi. No. For now, it's in preview, the only way of connection it's a repo at the same Tenant Azure AD for PowerBi and DevOps. Also, both the regions of the organization created at DevOps and the capacity of PowerBi must match.
I hope that helps,

Sadly no. Before this feature the good practice was "never make changes at service because you can bring them back to the repo or local". Even though you can download the pbix, that's not a solution for every scenario and doesn't feel the correct one.
The direction of the development was always from local or repo to Service.
I hope that make sense

Update: You don't need to have Fabric Tenant and DevOps in the same region anymore if you enable this setting:
Users can export items to Git repositories in other geographical locations
"The tenant admin must enable cross-geo exports if the workspace and Git repo are in two different geographical regions."
