PowerBI Refresh Failing through Service

Hi,   I have a project which is failing through refresh in the service, but can refresh manually through the PBIX.   The error message is stating different tables being the culprit.

Could it be that the MYSQL server i am pulling data from has the charset utf8mb3 and that us too old for the service, and it can only handle utf8mb4 now?

    Yes. An special char can break a value in a column producing an error.
    You can validate that opening Power Bi Desktop and looking for the row keeping the char at the Transform Data Menu. If an error shows at some point in the value of the column, that can be it.
