PowerBI Install

Hi All.

I have worked with PowerPI as a report developer but in this instance I would like to be able to:

  1. Install PowerBI designer ( free version ) *3 developers
  2. I have also number of user who will use the designed reports/ Dashboards to analyse data , change filter/ parameter ( as end user only) etc, what is the best way to share this reports with them.
  3. I would like to host the reports/ dashboards where other can access it ( developer who can access the latest source, and end user to the output of the reports ), we don’t have the SharePoint. Could you please provide me all the option where I don’t need to change the environment.

Hi @ahatra,

  1. Install PowerBI designer ( free version ) *3 developers
Power BI desktop is a free application, anyone can install it and design a Power BI report.
  2. I have also number of user who will use the designed reports/ Dashboards to analyse data , change filter/ parameter ( as end user only) etc, what is the best way to share this reports with them.
You can send your Power BI report pbix file your colleagues by email address, or you can stored the pbix a shared path.
  3. I would like to host the reports/ dashboards where other can access it ( developer who can access the latest source, and end user to the output of the reports ), we don’t have the SharePoint. Could you please provide me all the option where I don’t need to change the environment.
You can publish your report to Power BI services, and then share it to your end users. You do not need to change any environment. Please refer to the link below to see the details.
