PowerBI Gateway Release notes
Hi All, Does any one has a link to release notes for the latest version of PowerBI Gateway server? In addition, is there a separate forum to discuss about PowerBI gateway server issues? Thanks,...
Latest version is 202.16 and the release notes are nowhere to be seen. It worked resonably well for a while (although the release notes were mostly devoid of actual information) but now it's back to what we had last year, deafening silence and frequent bug fixes.
Incidentally just today I built myself a Power Automate flow to keep track of the gateway versions being released on the sly.
There's also this Currently supported monthly updates to the on-premises data gateways | Microsoft Learn
but it is incomplete and partially inconsistent.
Interesting, looks like the power automate flow will be helpful to keep track of the versions.
I will build one and see. Whenever microsoft releases new version, I expect release notes attached to the installation file.
Feel free to expect that 🙂 Not sure if it is going to happen any time soon though. You can mention it to your Microsoft contacts so they can bring it up with the product team.

Is it possibe that I can copy the code and make it work? Or should I go ahead and create one from the scratch by adding new steps?
