PowerBI Embedded : DAX Measure in Edit/Create Report Mode

In the playground I think it is static with the sample set that you are given and I don't believe you can make your own items.
The way to add your own DAX to a report though is done in desktop and then you can publish that to the Service and you can embed into SharePoint from there. At this time, you can't create DAX measures in the Service (or in an embedded report directly).
With March 2023 release,is there anyway to support dax or create calcuted field on top of your existing schema?
