Hello All!
I have importat an excel file and I have a live connection to a PowerBI Dataset.
Everything works offline (desktop version), but once published, I cannot see the data from the PowerBI live connection.
Does anyone know how to solve the issue?
I cannot use any gateway.
Thank you!
Gabor

Hi @Gaborfromungarn ,
In this case, you must use the gateway.
//I cannot use any gateway.
If you can't use a gateway, I can only suggest that you start with the location of the data source, for example, if you save the Excel file in the cloud in OneDrive, the dataset will be refreshed in a different way. I don't know what data source you are connecting to with the live connection, is it possible to put the data source in the cloud instead of going to the connected dataset?
If you can install and use the gateway, then the problem will be easy, follow the steps in this post to configure the mapped data source and remember to refresh the dataset at the end.

Hello Gao,
Thank you for responding.
The dataset is via sharepoint. and much easier to connect to the PBI dataset than me refreshing the whole data.
I will try the link you have sent.
Thank you helping.
