Hi all!
I am working with a dataset from a lake database in Azure Synapse.
While I work in PowerBI Desktop, I don't have errors or issues.
But, when I publish the report on the PowerBI Service, I get multiple errors trying to refresh the data (mannualy or automatically).
The meesage say something like:
"The credentials provided for the Synapse source are invalid. (Source at Synapse.). The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. Table: XXXXXXXXXX".
The table name, changes every time...
Could you help me?
Hi,
Any chance you found a solution or workaround? I am experiencing a seemingly identical error when trying to refresh a published dataset containing an Azure Synapse Analytics Workspace data source.
Thank you
Hi @devGV_88
What is the data source you are using to connect to Synapse, is it SQLServerlss or what type?
Hi @devGV_88
Which part of Synapse are you connecting to?
There are multiple data sources in Snyapse so it is good to know which one.
My database is here:
Before to move to Lake database, the database was in SQL database and I had not errors.
The weird thing is that from PowerBI Desktop and Synapse I do not have errors running queries.
