Persistent Visual Guidelines:
Add a "Comment Guidelines" card or text box on every report's first page or dashboard (e.g., “Use @username for individuals, post team discussions in Teams [link]”). Pin this visual to dashboards for maximum visibility. This acts like a pinned comment, always visible when users open the content.

Automated Starter Comment:
Use Power Automate to auto-post a guideline comment (e.g., “@username for individuals, Teams [link] for teams”) when a report or dataset refreshes. This ensures a top-of-pane comment for new content, mimicking pinning.

Teams Integration:
Embed the report in a Microsoft Teams channel. Pin a message with guidelines and use @channel for team discussions, addressing the @team gap. Include the Teams link in Power BI visuals/comments.

App Update Notes:
As an app content release participant, add guidelines to the app’s description and release notes (e.g., “Comment rules: @username for individuals, Teams for teams”). Use a report landing page for reinforcement.

Advocate for Features:
Submit “pin comments” and “@team tagging” as an idea in the Ideas forum:
