PowerBI - Changes are not reflected after publishing

    Hi rohit1991 

     

    i found out the reason finally, the reason is that this PBIX does not contains the sensitivity label ( because this PBIX is saved from a PBIP file ， for PBIP file, it's does not  support sensitivity lable), when i save the PBIP file as a PBIX file, i forgot to set the sensitivity label . the report that i previously published to the workspace has the "General" sensitivity label, and now i publish the report without sensitivity label.  it will not be accepted when the report is published to workspace .

Hi sunyangjun1115 


Try this:

  1. Delete only the Report (not the dataset) from the workspace.

           a. Go to the workspace.

           b. Click the ellipsis (…) next to the report.

           c. Choose Delete Report.

           d. Do NOT delete the dataset if it’s already scheduled or used elsewhere.

  1.   Then, re-publish the same PBIX file from Power BI Desktop.

           a. This will publish both the report and the dataset afresh, and the report visuals will now reflect                   your latest changes.

  1. After publishing, configure your data source credentials again if needed, especially if your dataset uses gateway or cloud connectors.
