When configuring a power BI workspace as a one-for-all workspace for all departments in my company, wanting to use entra groups, and link them to defined audiences in my PowerBI app, my hope was that dashboard links (through direct link to report, or through URL), would also enforce visibility as toggled per audience. However it doesnt. On the Microsoft support page, there is a note stating that hidden content is shown for anyone navigating with URLs-bound PowerBI dashboard tiles (because it is poorly implemented).
However, also the "link to a dashboard or report in the current dashboard" (which only makes it possible to link an individual report, and not the report in the context of the app: again because this functionality is poorly implemented).
Please fix the functionality of audiences in the PowerBI app, such that audiences also completely stops members from seeing reports that are not intended for them as per their audience. Also please make it such that dashboard tiles can link to reports in the app-context.
The only thing that is currently implented well for audiences, is the toggle of visibility of report names at the left-side app index. However it has no effect on the content-visibility itself. You can't convince me this is implemented as intended. This is lacking functionality.
