PowerBI App Workspace Refresh

Hi,

 

I have a report that I have set up for a scheduled refresh, the data is cloud based so I have set up the credentials to do this daily. If I publish the report as a PowerBI App workspace - will the data be automatically refreshed there as well in line with the schedule? Or do I need to do anything different or extra?

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    Once you configure the data source credentials and the dataset refresh schedule it will updated on that schedule.

    Hi,

     

            You have to update the app to get the refreshed data.

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    You can configure data credential and data refresh in the settings of dataset, in your situation, you don't need a gateway. And after  you configure it, it will refresh by your schedule automatically.
