Power bi refresh using different Credentials

When power bi report is published on service to a workscapse where my team member also have access. My team member is not able to refresh the report. Data source is SharePoint , we have same data source permission/access. SharePoint Online/SharePoint folder has been used to get the data.

 

 

Few points which are noticed while testing is -

1. When I use my team member’s credentials on a different browser on my system, I am able to refresh using his credentials.

2. When I changed my system password, I was even not able to refresh the report i.e. I had to go to data source and update the credentials there.

    Hi imehta,

     

    My suggestion is not to use your own credentials. Use Service account to have the gateway configured and datasource.

     

    It won't disturb much while refresh your report.
