Power bi refresh issue for direct query mode
Hi Team,
I have created custom usage metrics report connecting to Usage metrics dataset available from power bi. i have used both datasets(old & new( in the same report). I also have added an excel data to this report. So the report is refreshing without any issues from power bi desktop but once published to power bi service , it says no gateway available. tried installing personal gateway as well. still no luck.

The personal gateway don't support the data sources with direct query/live connection mode.
Please try to configure an on-premise gateway(standard mode) to check it again.

Usage Metrics datasets are limited to the workspace they are on. There is no "refresh" in direct query mode.
Please provide a more detailed explanation of what you are aiming to achieve. What have you tried and where are you stuck?
