How can I call the api in Power bi Service like we have option to call the api in destop
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @Abhishek_Singh_,
Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community,
In PowerbI Service/Fabric you can call the API using DataFlows/Power query
Steps:
1. Create a DataFlow Gen2 in PowerBI Service
2. Click on Get Data>more>WebAPI
In the Dataflow itself, you can transform the data and choose a data destination (Lakehouse/Warehouse). From there, you can build your report.
Alternatively, you can save the Dataflow and connect to it in Power BI Desktop via Get Data > Power BI Dataflows to build your report and publish it back to the service.
Please reach out for further assistance.
If this post helps please accept as solution and a Kudos would be appreciated.
Thanks & regards.
