Power bi APP links stopped working

Hello,

This morning I woke up to the links that were connected to my app referring to an outdated link.

The following parameters were changed:

https://app.powerbi.com/reportEmbed?(CHANGED)&appId={Unchanged}5&autoAuth=true&ctid={Unchanged}&config=CHANGED

I am still wondering how that could have happened as I am not aware of any reports being deleted. And I asume the token at the end wouldnt change unless something happened to the app. This happened for all of my reports and I want to avoid it in the future as I had to manually insert new links on all the places they were saved.

Hi @Anonymous ,

The comment I am focusing on is that this happened to "all" your reports.  That indicates to me that something "bigger" happened.  Perhaps an admin portal change or an O365 change of some sort?  By "rule" embedded URL's do not change as this would cause chaos if they did this randomly.  But, there are a few reasons for it to happen.  If you don't know of a "big" happening on your side, then I suggest you create a ticket and let us know the result please.

You were right, it turned out to be a scheduled maintenance that caused it.
