Hi, Power Pivot has a 'Synonym' feature under advanced which hels build intellignce to Q&A service. Is there is a feature like that exists in power BI desktop or powerBI app level so we can define synonyms to tables and columns for better searching?
Thanks,
Sheikh

As far as I know, that feature only exists in Excel as well as the "phrasing" capabilities that only seem to exist in Power BI for O365.
Synonyms are not available in Power BI Desktop or the service yet.
In the actual version of Power BI Desktop now you can add field- and table sysnonyms in the relationship editor.
I've tried adding synonyms in the editor and clicking save, but when I return to the editor later, it appears they have disappeared. When I upload to the Power BI service, they are not recognized by the QA as well. Any ideas on why they are not saving correctly?
