Power Pivot Models with Synonyms in Power BI

I asked a question earlier and the ability to create Synonyms doesnt exisit in Power BI Desktop at this point, But if we create a model in power Pivot and utlize the power povit capabilites for synonyms and import that into power BI, would they be translated over in the imported dataset?

My experience with this is YES! I created a data model in Excel for an upcoming game called "Are You Smarter Than Power BI?" and I used synonyms in this this model and they appear to work correctly in Q&A.
