Ran across an issue where my Power Pivot I bring down to Excel does not match my Dashboard. There is an issue with the calculation that I am unable to recreate in the dashboard. The fields are exactly the same, however my rate shows up differently in the Excel Version.
[Qty] & [$'s] are sum measures
[Int] is to get the Qty on all lines
[Rate] =([$'s] Divided by [Int]) * 100
This is the view in my Dashboard
This is the view in my power pivot in excel

Will it change when you add the Int column back in?
This is using the Analyze in Excel feature where it is getting the wrong calculation
Will it change when you add the Int column back in?
yes! This was actually part of my problem and I didn't realize it. Thank you for pointing it out
When you are exporting to Excel your measures may produce the wrong result. If you use Analyze in Excel instead then the measures will continue to match.
