Hi
I've have an SQL AZURE Database and I have been able to connect to it with Direct Query using Power Bi Desktop, but I am unable to do so with Power Bi service.
Here is a screenshot of the error
Am I missing something on the initial configuration?

There is a difference in how the Service and Desktop work with SQL Azure and Direct Query. In fact, "he direct connector for Azure SQL Database in the Power BI service is now deprecated."
You will need to follow this article to go through the steps to make it work as you expect:
