Power Bi Service

Hi All,

I have published a report on server and in that report I have used a text box to hyperlink another power bi report published in same workspace.

When user click on the link the report open in another browser tab.

Is there any way I can open the report in same browser tab and can navigate back to the report frol where I opened that link.

Hey @Anonymous ,

at the moment sadly not. Links are currently always opened in another tab and there is no workaround.

Sorry about that.

You can post that as an idea if you want, then the feature might be implemented in future versions.

If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍

Best regards
Denis

Thanks @selimovd

I am trying if I can use iframe kind of workaround so that users can open the another report in existing report.

Hey @Anonymous ,

that's absolutely possible. Take a look at the HTML5 visual, this can display websites as iFrame.

Maybe I will write a blog article about that on the weekend.

Good luck and best regards
