Power Bi Pro and Power Bi Desktop

I have a microsoft work account for Power Bi Pro but do not have email associated with that account. I also want to download Power Bi Desktop so I can work off line and would like to sync the two.  However, once I download the desktop app, it will not accept the same login credentials I use for the Pro version. Any ideas?  This situation is driving me crazy!

I'm a little confused about your description... As @Fowmy  said, If you have a Microsoft account, that is supposed to be an email address ,then you could use it to log in Power bi Desktop.

It may be related to the environment, proxy and many other factors.

If you have a Microsoft account, that is supposed to be an email address which you use to login to Power BI Service: https://app.powerbi.com/.

From PBI DeskTop, you should be able to log in without any issue. Please share the error message that you are getting.
