Power Bi Pro Refresh Limit Hit

Hello,

I recently made a power bi report pulling data through an API from Business Central, it now has an error saying it hit its max refresh within 24 hours but now the refresh option is greyed out like its been disabled. Is there a cooldown period or do i have to re upload the report to get a new limit?

Thanks,

Hudson

    Hi Megafix_Hudson ,

Because the maximum refresh rate has been reached within the 24-hour period, the refresh option is grayed out as if it is disabled.

The simplest solution is to wait for the 24-hour period to reset, which will restore the refresh functionality.

If the refresh limit is frequently reached, consider refreshing less frequently.

For configuration of scheduled refreshes, please see:

      Hey Yang,

I still dont have the auto refresh option enabled yet and it has been weeks. Could this be a connection issue?

  • Hey Yang, Ok thanks. It has been more than 24 hours since the cap was hit and the refresh option is still not available?

  • Hi Megafix_Hudson, Hope you are doing good!

Please check the data source credentials and then check if refresh option is available.
You will find it about the refresh option.
