Hello Everyone
Can I create in the organization domain a new account called DashboardsManagers@domain.com and then add it a Power Bi Pro license and share that user and password to a certain group of people?
Or it's a requeriment that they should be named licenses?
Can you help me with this issue?
Regards
Rodrigo Morales
Hello,
I think what the answer is already in your question 🙂
Even if I guess that technicaly you can share an account between several people, I think this is a workaround for getting fewer licences.
Power BI works with names licences, because you may use the user account when you synchronize you local AD with the Azure AD.
As soon as you synchronize your AD, user will be identified with their local AD in PowerBI (if they have accessed to it).
So, you can do it but you shouldn't do it 🙂
Sébastien
Thanks for your answer Sebastien.
I'm certain that I can do it but... Will I be doing something out of terms and conditions?
Regards.
