Power BI workspace-based isolation

Hi,

As stated in this article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/embed-multi-tenancy there is possibility to set up each workspace to work with different tenant. Where the setup is done? I mean where to configure that in Power BI service? Also, I am trying to set up in that way to have an opportunity to use reports through Power Bi Embedded. So I have another tenat, different than the one I have premium license for, and I want to connect from that tenant's app registration to embed content of the report on the site.

Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous ,

The feature is for developers rather than designers. If you want to use it to develop, you could turn on the option of "Allow service principals to use Power BI APIs" in Service. And you could learn from the video about all the content of it. If you're not a developer, we can't create a separate Power BI Workspace per tenant.

Hi @v-xuding-msft

Thanks for the reply. Video was useful in a way. I think I misunderstood what multitenancy model means. If I understand correctly now, it means different tenants but from client perspective and not different tenants used within an organisation. Anyway now I get it and I think I know answer to my question.

Thanks
