Power BI subscription error notification please!

Recently, I ran into an issue where my subscription to users via email was failing and I hadn't a clue why. My report was relatively unchanged from the prior version, i had changed the theme, added a background picture, and changed some of the visuals. Nothing too crazy right?! Well i spent a day digging around why, when i setup a subscription, and tried to send out the email, it never arrived. In addition to that the subscription was also turned off, but not by me?? I checked the prior versions of the report, settings, in desktop and also service, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Turns out the problem was with the background picture i added. It was too large. What is super frustrating is there is no notification that this was a problem ever!  Microsoft, please put an error message on things like this. I have to scroll through forums, settings, and just pull my hair out, when all you have to do is put an error message somewhere, hell ANYWHERE to tell a user why something is not working!

Subscriptions may fail on reports or dashboards with extremely large images due to email size limits. You can view the following link to learn more about subscription.

Besides, Based on my testing and information, Power BI does not support the notification feature. You can raise a new idea and add the comments there to make the feature coming sooner. Home (microsoft.com)
