Power BI slicer/data Issue - data not displaying
Hi, I'm having a rather strange issue with my Power BI reports. It's happening when I connect with data excel file locally and also when I connect it via Sharepoint. It likely has something to do with Slicers malfunctioning or the data not connecting properly (timing out?). Essentially, as I'm creating the report all of a sudden the visuals no longer populate with my data. In some instances it seems that it no longer has any data for all the sheets I have open, and others it seems that it's only on the page I was working in and opening a new page resolves the issue. On one of my reports (trying multiple times to trouble shoot myself with the help of YouTub/forum posts), it seems that the slicers are malfunctioning, so that when one slicer is selected, it affects other visuals even though I've made sure to correctly edit the interactions between my slicers and visuals. Any helpful suggestions?

Hi RowingCanada ,
For slicer interactions that affect other visuals, select the Format ribbon, then select Edit interactions, and set the slicer to the visual you want to affect.

Troubleshooting When Power BI Slicer Is Not Affecting All Visuals (quicklylearnpowerbi.com)
For issues where the visual no longer fills in data, there are a few things you can check:
1. You mentioned that your data sources are local Excel files and SharePoint data.
Please ensure that the configuration is correct, especially the local one.
You need to check whether the gateway is configured correctly.
You can see if the problem is solved by refreshing the semantic model.
2. Check the data model for problems such as circular dependencies, mismatched data types, or missing relationships.
Check the Power Query editor for any errors that may affect data loading.
3. Visual-level filters applied to report pages sometimes cause visuals to become blank after refreshing.
Check these filters carefully to make sure they are configured correctly and are not overly restrictive.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me. It would be best if there is specific information about the error.
