how many reports can we create using a single semantic model in power bi?

There's no official documented limit on how many reports you can connect to a single semantic model. In practice, you can have as many reports as you want — it's one of the main advantages of separating the semantic model from the report layer.
The only real constraints are workspace-level storage limits (1TB per premium workspace, 10GB per Pro workspace) and the semantic model size limit (1GB for shared/Pro, larger for Premium depending on capacity). Those apply to the model itself, not to the number of reports using it.
So the recommended pattern is actually to build one well-structured semantic model and then create multiple focused reports on top of it — for example, a finance report, an ops report, and an executive summary all connecting to the same dataset. This keeps your data logic in one place and makes maintenance much easier.

There is a limit of 1000 items per workspace.
There is no hard limit on how many reports you can create from a single semantic model in Power BI. Large organizations often have dozens or even hundreds of reports connected to a single enterprise semantic model.
