Power BI semantic model experience in Excel
I can not seem to get access to this new Excel-Power BI Dataset integration described here:

I check all requirements:
1. Users can work with Power BI semantic models in Excel using a live connection tenant setting: my tenant admin says its enabled
2. Allow XMLA endpoints and Analyze in Excel with on-premises datasets tenant setting: all datasets are in the service not on-premise. still my admin says its enabled
3. Excel version: Version 2310 Build 16.0.16924.20202 - so that should be ok
4. Build permission in workspace: I am the admin in those workspaces
5. License: this is phrased a bit confusingly by Microsoft on the page linked above:
You must have a Fabric license: Fabric (free), Pro or Premium Per User (PPU). Fabric (free) license users can only work with datasets in My workspace or a Power BI Premium capacity or Fabric F64 or greater capacity. Learn more about Power BI licenses.
So we have PPU licenses so I guess that should be ok. But just to make sure I also tried setting my "MY Workspace" to Fabric Free. Still I can not get this "Insert Table" option in Excel:
Is this feature not completely rolled out? What could be the reason?

Based on the information you have provided, you seem to have checked most of the prerequisites. Let us go through a few steps to troubleshoot further:
- Double-check that you have the correct permissions to use the dataset. Being the administrator of the workspace is a good start, but also make sure you have 'build' permissions for the dataset you want to access.
- Sometimes there are limitations on the company network that may prevent certain features. Check with IT to make sure there are no network policies or firewall settings preventing integration.
If the Insert Table option does not appear after taking these steps, it may be helpful to know the following information:
- Can you use the Get Data option to access Power BI datasets from Excel?
- Have you tried accessing the integration from a different network or device to troubleshoot issues with a specific device or specific network?
- Do you get any error messages when you try to use the "Insert Table" option, or does the option not appear at all?

to your points:
1. I am admin in all workspaces. I tried adding specific build permissions to my user however this seems to have no effect. Is it even possible to do so if you are already admin?
2. Can you be more specific about this point? My IT department would like to know what they should look for.
To your other points:
- Yes, I get the "old" connection to PBI datasets from the "Get Data">"From Power BI" menu. I can see and conncet to all my dataset here and that looks like this:
- Yes, I tried using a different network - the new interface with "Insert Table" does not appear.
- see screenshot: I do not get to see this option. So no error message either.

shall i create a support ticket or are there any obvious steps I missed or requirements I did overlook?
is the rollout complete? should this feature be available to all tenants if the requirements are met?
