Power BI reports in web appication

If I go with embedded solution for my customers will they be able to see PBI service reports with the app? What about something like this:

Report viewer with navigation. Navigation to next report will send data to service report and after rendering there it comes back to the app with new data?

Thanks

Here is what I want. Within an embedded solution I need to accomplish the following:

In a report that migh have many pages I need to show charts created by HIghCharts. These charts dont have to be interactive which means it could have been dynamic images of charts created at the runtime. I can add HIghCharts library as custom visuals to PBI reports. That would be a straight forward way of having HC charts in the documents. However, PBI reports are a single page documents. While I need to show these images in reports that might have many pages. I can design single page report to hold images and other details using PBI report and a paginated report to hold tabular data. So, when a user would get his report it starts with tabular data. He continue havigating and he gets a BPI report with charts as another report is is viewing. Same if a user exports the report into PDF.

All of these wouldn't be needed if we could have PBI reports with multiple pages.

Hi, @Markzolotoy

According to your description, I’m confused about what do you mean by “Report viewer with navigation”? Is this about the custom navigation for Power BI apps or something else about the Power BI report server?

What’ more, if JosefPrakljacic’s reply helped you to solve this problem, would you like to mark his reply as a solution if it’s useful so that others can learn from it too?

There are many ways you can embed and control reports. You can see some examples here.

Could you please clarify your question if I've misintepreted it.

Please don't forget to give a 👍 and accept the post as solution. (If it helped 😅)

@JosefPrakljacic Getting back to my original question after I finally saw how it works. when I cclick on Next page is it possible to send next page request to the POwer cloud service and get a single page report from there?

After going to provided link and running a paginated report all I got was this:

Markzolotoy_0-1610827653389.png

I had to wait half a minute for the report to show up. (I just give it a try and wait some time) Sorry, this is a site managed by Microsoft. I have no influence on the performance and content.

Do I have to click on Run?

Yes

Waiting over 7 min. nothing.

Still loading .... pathetic.

Oops, works in chrome 🙂
