Power BI reports in SSRS technical preview data sources

Hello,

 

I want to try out the technical preview version of Power BI reports integartion with SSRS. Can I build report and publish in SSRS on any data source like Teradata, or does it support reports created on SSAS data source only? Please advise.

"Currently, the only data source supported with Reporting Services is a live connection to Analysis Services (tabular or multidimensional)." 

 

According to this post: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/power-bi-reports-in-reporting-services

 

However, stay tuned - it is mentioned that "More data sources will be added in future releases."
