Hello Everyone,
I want to create a Power BI report which feeds data from a list stored in SharePoint Online and this report is displayed on a site page within SharePoint Online.
Whenever the list is modified, the Power BI report should be automatically refreshed. When I create the site page using a Power BI report, the site page is not automatically refreshed when the list data has changed.
How to achieve a live Power BI report (triggered everytime when there is a change in list data stored on the SharePoint Online).
I think the Power BI report is not refreshed automatically from the list stored in SharePoint Online and hence the site page is not refreshed as well.
Any pointers or suggestions are appreciated?
Thank you.

Still the same problem with Power BI service, that the data refresh every 3 hrs?
Hi, @MappleLeaf
There is a limitation here, the data is refreshed every three hours.

I guess what you want to know is PowerBI's automatic page refresh. Change detection is the refresh type you want.
This refresh type allows you to refresh visuals on a page based on detecting changes in the data rather than a specific refresh interval. Specifically, this measure polls for changes to your DirectQuery source. Besides defining the measure, you also have to select how frequently Power BI Desktop will check for changes. When publishing to the service, this refresh type is only supported in workspaces that are part of a Premium capacity. LiveConnect sources such as Analysis Services and Power BI datasets are not supported

This is just abysmal. "Power" BI can't even connect to a simple list within sharepoint and refresh the data reliably. Again, MS come close to a great solution and falls down at the basics.
