Power BI refresh issue because of Text filter

Hi everyone,

I have a PowerBI report that works perfectly on desktop and on PowerBI service when I use a personal gateway and Enterprise gateway.

However, If I use a text filter in the Power Query the report works fine for Power BI desktop and Power BI service if the refresh is done through a personal gateway however when using text filter with entreprise gateway the refresh gives an error.

Error log given below:

Found the Solution!!

The refresh error was being caused because of difference in desktop and service environment regional settings. In desktop I changed the regional settings to UK and uploaded in the service again and it started refreshing without errors.

Please find the link below of a table i created without sensitive information. This does not refresh. However you remove the last two steps in the query of text and date filter then the refresh will work.

Yes, additionally I face the same issue with some queries with date filters. Although they refresh perfectly with the personal gateway in the service but with enterprise gateway it gives the same error. If I delete those queries or steps from the report then it works with enterprise gateway as well.

If there would've been a format error it shouldn't work with personal gateway either.
