When publishing a dataset, an entire table dissapears after a few seconds of being published. This table was created in exactly the same way the other tables in the dataset were. If I download that report from online in desktop that data shows up as normal. Is this a bug?
I had the same problem today. I published a new version of a report with a new table in the dataset. When I went to Power BI online, the new table was missing and the visuals on the report that referred to the table had this error:
I published the report again from Power BI Desktop about 20 minutes later, and now the table is there, so it seems like a problem in the publishing process.
I've the same problem. I've update the app to latest version but not solved this problem.
I've solved my problem I don't know if it's the same for you.
I found that If I create a new column on Query Editor (wizard mode), Data on my Desktop App are present on this new columns but after import on my WorkSpace and after Gateway refresh, data are missing.
Otherwise If I create a new column on first view on my Desktop App (not on Query Editor) the problem does not arise.

@cthurston,
I am not able to reproduce this issue. Do you use the latest version of Power BI Desktop(2.48.4792.481) to create your reports? Could you please share me your PBIX file so that I can test?
Regards,
