Power BI multiple gateway
Hi,
Working on creating a Power BI gateway on Virtual machine.
SQL server and Oracle, needs to be connected.
Can we create or install two gateway, join them as a cluster so that if one of them goes down the other one will still function.
Can someone please explain how to do this.
Thanks,
Naveen
Hey YashikaAgrawal ,
check the box in the gateway setting in Service.
Service will take care of request distribution.
Consider enough RAM and CPU according to your needs.
If you don't know how much is needed monitor your VM utilization when the heavy loads are running...then you will (most likely) know.

Hi YashikaAgrawal,
You can set up multiple On-premises Data Gateways on different virtual machines and configure them as a gateway cluster. This setup ensures high availability, supports failover, and helps avoid single points of failure by balancing the load across gateways.
