Have you already taken over the semantic model? After that have a look into data source credentials and try ot update it by logging in with your user.
If this does not help, I'd probably look into the gateway. This you can find under gateway and cloud connections:You can also manage such gateways by clicking on the settings symbol in the top right:

Right, are you able to trigger a refresh manually in the Power BI Service?
I can successfully refresh the data manually via the desktop application. But I have to publish it every time.
