Hello,
Our clinic uses Tebra (formerly Kareo) as our practice management system. We are exploring connecting Power BI to the Tebra API to build internal dashboards.
Could anyone confirm whether Power BI supports connecting to the Tebra API as a data source, and if there are recommended methods or documentation for setting up this integration?
Thank you.

Hi @KemiA ,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community. Power BI doesn’t offer a native connector for Tebra, but you can connect using the API. Typically, you’ll use Power BI’s Web connector or a custom connector to access the API endpoints, handle authentication, and convert the JSON or XML responses into tables. It’s a good idea to review Tebra’s API documentation to identify available endpoints and test some calls in Power BI Desktop. After that, you can determine whether a direct connection or a middleware layer is better for your dashboards.
I hope this clarifies the situation. If I’ve misunderstood any part of your situation, please let us know.
Hi @KemiA ,
Could you let us know if your issue has been resolved or if you are still experiencing difficulties? Your feedback is valuable to the community and can help others facing similar problems.
