Power BI impacting Dynamics 365 Performance
Hi pros, a quick question I was curious about. Does connecting directly to Dynamics 365 using the connector have any impact on performance in Dynamics? ie. If we are pulling millions of rows of data from Dynamics in Power BI will there be any latency for users on the application?

There could potentially be a performance impact.
One thing that will be certain is that trying to pull millions of rows of data via the connector will be very slow.
I know most Dynamics 365 organizations have the data replication in place that replicates the data to an Azure SQL Database, where you could source the information from.
