Power BI (home page) button missing in Apps

Hi

Recently the Apps I have published to my end users have become 'neater' and now the Power BI 'button' is missing from the nav. Below first screenshot shows Power BI 'button' that takes you to the welcome page, second screenshot shows it missing.

Now users have to go back to the 9 dots and choose Power BI app to go there.

Anyone out there experiencing this too? Am I missing a link I should be able to see or its this by design?

Hi , @paulkalinski

Thanks for your quick response! The sceenshot seems to be a report and i test it in side , the "Power BI" actually dose not display above it :

And now if you need to go to home page , you need to click the "Home" here.

And if you need to go to your workwsapce home page , you can click here:

Sorry, this should be an update on the front page. If you have any dissatisfaction with this page, you can submit your ideas to Power BI ideas to optimize this product.

Thank you for your time and sharing, and thank you for your support and understanding of PowerBI!

Ok thank you Aniya, I do have the home button on my top left and feel very stupid all of a sudden.

Will check if end users have this as well as I'm the admin so may be different for them.

Hi , @paulkalinski

You don’t have to worry about this at all, whether you are Admin or not, the selection bar on the left will be displayed by default.

For this , you can refer to :

Thanks for your reply Aniya,

From what I can see ince in the app there is no back button, I wish there was. Screenshot below.

AFAIC this improvement definitely cleans up the page but removes a useful functionality.

Hi, @paulkalinski

According to your description, this should be an update of the front-end version, it is a By design, this is the interface optimization of the new version of power bi.

Based on my test in my local side Apps, you can try to click on the "Go back" in the left down corner of the Apps page instead of click on "9 dots" to find the Power BI again to redirect to the Power BI home page:
