Power BI gateways

I am really lost in all the gateway terms such as data management gateway, Power BI personal gateway, Power BI gateway, the Enterprise Gateway... Could someone help me understand these gateway related terms and the situations to use them? Thank you so much.

The data management gateway is (more or less) the old name for the Power BI Personal gateway when Power BI was part of O365 (Power BI for O365). The Analysis Services gateway is essentially the old name for the Enterprise Gateway.

So, today there is the Personal Gateway (Power BI Gateway - Personal) and the Enterprise Gateway (Power BI Gateway - Enterprise). The Personal Gateways is for personal use, so think of every user running their own personal gateway to update their on-premises data sets. The Enterprise Gateway is designed for everyone in the organization to use.

The enterprise gateway is not yet so far you can add sources from Power BI Services. I understood that there is still being worked on.
