Power BI desktop windows authentication + Nav 2016

Trying to get power bi to connect via odata to a nav 2016 database and keep getting "user not authorized" if windows authentication is selected. If we switch the nav service tier to navuserpassword type, it works with Power BI/Basic authentication.

 

Any ideas on whats going on?  We can connect to the odata feed through excel and connect to the port via webpage and view xml just not with Power BI?

      Is there any plan to enable windows authentication?

       

      This, in my experience, is the primary form of authentication used.

        Unfortunately, it's still not supported. Please submit a feature request on Idea
