Power BI desktop and service is extremely slow for last couple of days.. Is something going on?

For last couple of days, everything power BI has been extremely slow. Every click is taking longer to refresh.

Not sure what is going on. It's not specific to any one report. Everything was find couple of days ago. Something changed recently?

Hi @rmodi ,

If the desktop is working slowly, it may be because your machine is running slowly. how fast the Power BI desktop is running depends on your machine. You may consider testing the report on another machine. Or Monitor report performance in Power BI to check where goes slowly.

If the service, you can use refer this article to know more about why work slowly.

Hi @rmodi

Everything is working fine for me and I have not heard of any other issues.

Could it be that the model needs to be optimized so that it can run faster?
