Power BI dataset refresh through power automate button in report takes very long and then fails.

Hello,

I have a power automate button in my report. On clicking the flow refreshes the dataset of the report. It works once or twice a day and then it takes over 20 minutes and fails. Normally the refresh is a few seconds.

I have a Power BI pro license. The report is only refreshed 3 times today. So I should have 5 more refreshes..

Any ideas what causes this?

Go to Power Automate -> My Flows -> Run History and see what the error gives you there.

Check for error messages in PBI Service on the dataset.

Thx. Where can I find the error messages on a data set? I don't see any..

In service go to dataset settings and it should be under refresh history.

Thank you for your answer. That's the problem the flow action doesn't appear in the refresh history
