Error : Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 provider is not registered on the local machine
Note: Dataset refresh successfully in power bi desktop. It's only get failed when we publish in service.
Hey @Navaneethan ,
please check if everything described in this article is in place: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/connectors/access-database
Hopefully, this helps to tackle your challenge.

Tom
This article talk about how to connect ms access connection from file local folder. In my case MS access file in my Microsoft share point online folder.
1) MS access ( local folder) connect using gateway is working perfectly.
2) MS Access (SharePoint) connect in power BI desktop is working perfectly.
When I try to publish the report (prepared using point 2) service, I am getting error.
Hey @Navaneethan ,
I'm not sure what 1 means, does it mean, when MS Access is placed in a local folder the automatic refresh inside Power BI Service works?
Also, how do you connect in 2, using Power BI Desktop, does the MS Access connector point to synched file? What Connector are using from inside Power Query?
Regards,
Tom
Hi
Method 1: I am having Ms access file in network share folder and I am connected that file in my power bi desktop. I have published using power bi gateway using refresh schedule. Based on the schedule it will refresh the dataset using the latest file in share folder. ( This process working fine)
Method 2: I have uploaded ms access file in Microsoft SharePoint and I have connected that file into power bi desktop using "SharePoint online folder" connecter. Power bi desktop refresh successfully as well.
Issue: When I try to publish the dataset which I prepared using method 2 it's getting failed with the error which I mentioned.
Hey @Navaneethan ,
my assumption is that you have to use a gateway connection for option 2) as well because the requirde driver is not part of the Power BI Service.
Use the same connection details from your Power BI Desktop config when you are pointing the gateway connection to the Sharepoint folder.
Hopefully, this helps to tackle your challenge.

Tom
