Power BI closing without warning, no error message

Power BI is closing when I go into Power Query to refresh my tables.  I have expanded the memory allocation in options, reduced the loading to 1 at a time, and turned off auto time etc.  I have alrea...

    Hi LYorkToenniges ,

     

    Please try disabling background data refresh to prevent changes from triggering an automatic refresh while you make changes. You can do this by going to File > Options and settings > Options > Current File > Data Load and unchecking Background Data.
    And instead of refreshing all queries at once, try refreshing them individually. In Power Query Editor, you can right-click on a query and select Refresh Preview.

One option I have is changing the files that are being queried to csv, would that buy me the space I need?  I had much more loaded in and excel power query data model and that file runs fine so it's power BI for sure.  Other files load as well, so it has to be the amount of files.
